Vessels

The vessels on this page are all hollow, built on the end of a mandrel (more on this later when I add a page about how this is all done!) Most have cork stoppers which effectively seal the tops so that they will hold liquids, or whatever you choose to put in there, securely. Sizes vary, but most are 1 to 1-1/2". For more individual info, feel free to contact me.

If you'd like to see more vessels - along with an explanation of how they're made - check this section of my blog.

Iced Tea Galaxy
Iced Tea Galaxy

The color of this glass is "Iced Tea" and light shines through it like sunshine through the ice cubes in a glass of iced tea. The sifting of white enamel and the line of fine silver beads spiraling around it look like a glimpse into space.

A little over 1-1/4" from "shoulders" to bottom, a cork (included) will make it waterproof and add 1/4" to height.

Tropical Lagoon
Tropical Lagoon

All the colors of the Caribbean cascade down this vessel: Icy blues, dreamy aquas and pale greens blend in a sunlit lagoon you can wear every day.

The vessel alone is about 1-1/2" and a waterproof cork stopper will add an additional 1/4".

Raspberry Sorbet
Raspberry Sorbet

A wonderful wispy, hot pink glass gives this vessel the look of a delicious sugar candy. A bit of added ruby frit melted in makes the very bottom and the area around the neck just a little darker.

The vessel is 1-1/4", waterproof cork adds another 1/4".

Freckled Glacier
Freckled Glacier

This clear, pale blue green glass just sparkles in the light and the little salmon freckles contrast beautifully.

Lava Flow
Lava Flow

How's this for bright? Hot orange gaffer glass with a stripe of yellow in the center to finish it off. Gaffer means the glass has a wonderful wispy quality. A very thin neck swelling into the body of the vessel.

The vessel alone is about 1-1/4" from the lip at the top to the tip at the bottom. Corked to hold your favorite scent.

Lassoed Amphora
Lassoed Amphora

This is one of my first attempts at electroforming a handle. The handle is actually made of twine which has been painted with special paint and then electroplated with copper.

The vessel itself is made of a very special "Galaxy" glass with stringer ornamentation.

A monster at almost 2-1/4" from the top of the handle to the base.

Spring Opal
Spring Opal

These electric colors just scream spring! The base transparent color is bright lime green while the neck and stringer decorations are a color called "uranium yellow," but I think of it as an opalescent green.

A little guy at only 1", the cork adds about 1/4".

Shooting Stars

Medium Blue Gaffer Glass gives this vessel the soft striations of blue while silver wire applied to the surface and melted in looks like shooting stars.
